strategies, transverse frictions, neuro-muscular techniques, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and mobilisation techniques on localised areas of the
body.
Treatment techniques may involve the use of heat, cold, stretching and exercises to restore mobility,
flexibility and strength.
Depending on your reasons for coming for Deep Tissue Massage, a recommended number of treatments is between 2 to 5, usually at weekly
intervals, in order to allow the treatment to take effect, and for the true benefit to be seen. A Treatment plan is always discussed with you and put into place to determine your proposed treatment
following the initial consultation and treatment.
Often a postural assessment will be completed, and regularly reviewed, and where appropriate, suggestions will be made and exercises offered to improve any specific problems and maintain the
condition of the muscles.
